Open Competition – Telling Our Stories

10:00
- 11:00 am
Sat 2nd March 2024
Young people in our times live in a world suffused with quick sound bites and fleeting trends. But what is their deeper story? How often is this something that they can fully express? This session is a space for these stories to be told.

How will our times appear to those who follow us?

What can we give to the future to explain the times we lived in?

The speakers for this session are stood in a fascinating moment of history.

But for all of its interest, it is fraught with change, uncertainty and strangeness.
We asked young people in Malvern to submit the talks they would like to give. Each speaker has therefore been chosen from a broad field of excellent applicants.

Their responses to our times are truly engaging, thoughtful and challenging.

We invite you to come and listen to their stories.

This session is aimed at an audience of KS3, KS4 and KS5 students (11-18 years). Adults are welcome to join as well – they may learn a thing or two.

Suitable for: 12 years and up
