We all know one of the wonderful things about our imaginations is that they let us drift away into other worlds, some that seem familiar and some that seem faraway, funny and strange. These worlds are different, vivid and exciting, whether we come across them while telling a story, drawing a picture, or just daydreaming by ourselves.
Will Hughes knows the joy of travelling to these worlds very well through his work writing and illustrating children’s books. Whether it be a normal looking street where a rather friendly ogre lives, a mysterious sea made of darkness found at the top of a moon shaped mountain, or a zoo in the far corner of space.
In this workshop for all ages, he will help us imagine unknown worlds, through drawing maps, pictures of the characters who might live there, and finally writing illustrated stories.
