John says he fell in love with The Festival at first sight! He’s been a delegate, a volunteer and getting involved in its organisation seemed like a natural step. By background he is a nurse and followed on his clinical career with a series of senior manager roles in Local Government, focused primarily around Risk Management, which he sees as a dynamic way to enable exciting things to happen.
Now, semi-retired, John is working as a Family Support Worker, engaging with vulnerable families on the edge of care. He is also taking time to live in all the places he’s ever wanted to live, so, after time in London and the Cotswolds, he’s now living in the beautiful North East of England… as for where next… who knows.
